       2011 Test - Adams & Wells county are in District 3  needs work !

 

EMA Directors,

 

Please find attached the follow up information for the Statewide RACES Test, along with the original announcement.   As was stated in the original announcement, “This will be a Directed Net operation by IDHS Districts (see the IDHS District Map). Because some counties are on Central Time the roll call will be in the following order: District 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 1, 2 and last, District 10.

 

We have also arranged for those Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS) enthusiasts to test this system by sending a message to W9SEM-5.  In order to keep the message within the limited message size of APRS, please send only the following information:

·         Call Sign of the originating station

·         County reporting the information

·         Number of participants of the local net or zero if no net was held,

·         Whether the EMA Director was present (yes or no).

 

Example: IF W9ABC was representing Zion County who had a net with 6 checkins, but the EMA Director was not present at the test, the message should look like:

 

W9ABC, ZION, 6, NO.
